Hey there! We've been thinking a lot lately about the local music scene... the really talented musicians pouring their heart and soul into recordings, the venues giving local bands a chance to play, even sometimes for small rooms of listeners, and the music lovers within our communities that come, time and time again, to hear music from independent artists, buy merch, talk to musicians, and support local art. It's a really magical thing. And, in order to better understand it, we're starting a podcast to talk to independent musicians about the music they love, the music they make, and the ways in which music can help bring people together. The podcast is called INDIEd. In it, Josh and Julia of the DC-based band You Fool! talk with other independent musicians and artists about the music they love, the music they make, and the importance of music to foster community and connection.
